The Industry is located at Bhatiary Industrial Belt. P.S- Sitakunda, Chittagong and was established in the year of 1998.The Company R. R. Coconut Oil Industries Limited has got the official permission from the Board of Investment at the end of Year 2001.
The main machinery and equipments i.e. Oil expeller, Filter press, Copra Cutter, Copra cooker have been imported from Taiwan R.O.C for this project and other Tanks, pumps fire navigation with related equipments are procured from local sources.
The production capacity of R. R. Coconut Oil Industries Ltd. is 10,000 Metric Tons of pure and acid free Coconut oil. The main Raw Materials for this Industry are Copra only. All the required Copra is imported from neighboring countries such as Sri-lanka, Singapore and Malaysia, Solomon Islands, Kiribati, PNG etc.
The total production of R .R. Coconut Oil Industries Limited is used and consumed in the local market. The product is International standard in quality and free from Acid value. “Mostafa Brand Coconut oil produced by R .R. Coconut Oil Industries Limited may be exported to overseas countries as the quality is ISO standard and export quality. The by -product of R. R. Coconut Industries Limited is Oilcake. It is mainly used in Fish cultivation and Dairy Firms/industries.
The Company has a separate and independent packaging unit for the production of Cork Sheets (EPS Sheet and box) of various sizes and thickness with the help of imported Polymers of styrene in primary forms. The Company is supplying Cork sheets to the local market side by side its own use and consumption.
